Rachel Ellison has 16 years of experience working in the broadcast and telecommunications industry, including 9 years as a BBC news correspondent and international project director. She created and led award winning teams in competitive global markets. Rachel is an experienced live presenter. She broadcast to radio and television audiences of 185m people in 120 different countries.
Rachel demonstrates the ability to achieve excellence in herself and develop it in others. She manages change positively and resiliently, learns fast and operates effectively in challenging, cross cultural environments. As a coach and as a professional leader, she offers both breadth and depth of skill across different industry sectors – from banking to retail to health to government.
Rachel was awarded an MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) for 'the promotion of human rights and the empowerment of women in Afghanistan'.
Her team won BBC Team of the Year 2007.
Rachel coaches senior executives and high potential talent in global corporates and the public sector. She also consults on women's rights and the use of media as a form of development aid e.g. Afghanistan, India, Africa.

Rachel gained an MA in Mastery in Professional Executive Coaching, from the i-coach academy and Middlesex University, London, UK in 2009. The course is accredited by the EMCC (European Mentoring & Coaching Council). She also has a BSc (Hons) Psychology from the University of Birmingham, UK.
Trained in BRIEF Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Coaching, and recognised through the BBC's Coach Foundation Course (EMCC) and Ashridge Business School as having 'created a standard for others to aspire to'.
Rachel is accredited with the ICF (International Coaching Federation), APECS (Association of Professional Executive Coaching & Supervision) and is a member of the Association for Coaching of Great Britain.
She has professional coach supervision and is committed to continuing her own personal development.
